Cabogata Beach Hotel Retamar , Retamar (Almeria)

I had a fantastic stay at the hotel with spacious rooms overlooking the superb beach. The cleanliness was top-notch, but the lack of tea/coffee making facilities and iron in the room was a downside. The check-in was prompt around 12 pm, and the room was spacious.

My stay at the hotel was quite pleasant overall. The rooms were lovely, very spacious with a beautiful balcony overlooking the pools and the sea. The service, despite a few minor hiccups, was friendly and efficient. The location felt safe and chilled, although the noise level in the room was a bit bothersome at times. Dining options were good but not exactly value for money. The facilities were decent, but there is room for improvement.

The hotel had incredible views of the pools, sea, and Plaza from the rooms, which were nice and cleaned daily. However, there was a bit of a wait for the rooms upon arrival before lunchtime. The service, especially from Paco, was friendly, though some staff seemed moody due to changing ownership. The location was beautiful for relaxation, with minor navigation challenges in the nearby areas. The dining experience was clean and busy after 9 am. The hotel could expand its potential further. The morning traditional Irish pancakes were a highlight.
